Today is a very special day for an 11-year-old girl from the Yume region... for today will be the day on wich Lapis Lazuli will start her journey, which shall change her live forever.
>>Sweetie, get up already! Prof. Hazel is too busy to be waiting for you!<<
Lapis, sitting in front of the mirror, yelled back: >>I'm already up!!! Would you please prepare a sandwich for me, while I'm getting ready, Mom?<<
>>Okay, but hurry up<<
She turned back to her reflection and stared into her pale-blue eyes, before she stood up.
The girl combed her dark brown hair, and ties it into a ponytail. She put her red lucky charm hair clip and her goggles on.
>Mom gave me a bag and new skater-shoes...Hehehe So everything is ready...< Lapis made a sound of excitement and ran down downstairs.
Lapis grabbed her sandwich, stuffed half of it in her mouth and called her partner: >>C'mon Alume or I'll have to leave without you~!<<
>>Luuum-Luuu~!!!<< A small fluffy Lumer ran into the room and jumped on Lapis' shoulder: >>I'm off!<< she said.
>>Take care! An don't forget to call me ev--<<
Lapis left before her mother could finish her sentence. She put the skater-rolls on and went off, yelling:
>>DON'T WORRY!<<
>>I wonder where we should go first~~ Do you want to challenge the Gym in the next city Alume?<< >>Lemuuu~!<<
>>Yeah, you're right, first we should go to the Prof.<<
While skating down the street she came along a park, and stopped.
Some weird clothed people seemed to check wild Pokémon. They were observing them and took notes.
>>What are they doing.... do you think they're doctors, Alume?<<
One of the weird people turned around and looked at Lapis. She got frightened and left.
>>Is something wrong?<< A boy with pale-red eyes stood in front of the guy who looked at Lapis. >>Nothing, it's just a little girl, Commander<<
>>We have orders to bring the results to the headquarter as soon as possible. So don't dawdle around.<<
>>Yes sir<<
>>I'll leave now. I received a mission from the Boss. You will have to take care of this matter on your own for now. Don't do anything stupid<<
----------------------Meanwhile at Prof. Hazel's Research Lab----------------------
>>Yeah....Right....I'll try....I know....Bye dad<< The young professor put down the telephone receiver and sighed >>He's always telling me what to do. But I'm not a kid anymore.....Now, where did I left my files...<< Hazel went through the room, and accidentally -without noticing- bumped against a table. Two of the three Pokéballs that were laying on it rolled down and released the Pokémon.....
*swiuwiiish*
Hazel turned around and found the Pyrefly from the Pokéballs melting his telephone receiver >>OH NO! Pyrefly, return!<< he took one of the Pokéballs lying on the ground and pointed it at Pyrefly.....nothing happened...>>Damnit, the wrong one<< while he was busy grabbing the other Pokéball, Pyrefly already flying to another room.
>>Wait up!<< Hazel chased it. When he arrived in the room he saw that Lemnas -which was the other Pokémon that got released- already started to eating some papers lying on his desk. >>Oh noooo! Yaari, stop that,...or never mind, just return<<
The Lemnas, nicknamed Yaari, dodged the red beam that shot from the Pokéball and started running through the room, playing with Pyrefly.
A mysterious masked person, with pale-red eyes, who was standing on the roof used this chaos to his advantage.
>>Fontis, go in there and open the window<<
The ghost Pokémon went trough the wall without any problems and opened the window.
>>Good job, now look for the Pokédexs.<<
While looking for the Pokédexs the mysterious person found the third Pokéball lying under the table.
>>Fon~foo~<<
Fontis found the Pokédexs in a bed in a room upstairs and brought one down to the mysterious person.
The person put the Pokédex in his bag and turned back to the Pokéball.
>>Shall we take him with us Fontis?<<
>>....<<
>>Okay Bud, you're coming with us. I'll check out what kind of Pokémon you are later<<
He called his Fontis back in it's Pokéball and left through the window.
Before he left he turned around and saw a girl on skaters entering the research labs garden.
>>Hey Prof! This is Lapis, you there?<<
>>Ahh Lapis, come in, I'll....I'll be there in a few moments....<<
While Hazel still fought with the two troublemakers, Lapis entered the messed up research lab.
>This Professor Hazel is a funny guy. He has no sense of order. Ever since he came to Yume, his research center was a mess. But he is a close friend of an elite four member, and his father is a famous Professor in a far away region...<
>>Caaatch it!<<
Pyrefly flew straight to Lapis face >>Aaah! Alume! Stop it with tackle!<<
>>Luuuuu!<< Alume hit Pyrefly and a relived Hazel entered the room.
>>Oh thank you... this Pyrefly and the Lemnas went crazy and I had problems getting them back into their Pokéballs...<<
>>Hehehe, maybe you should play with them more often<<
Lapis handed over Pyrefly to Prof. Hazel, and he "put it back" into it's Pokéball.
>>You're here for a Pokédex right?<<
>>Yeah!<<
>>Your grandfather recommended you as Pokédex holder. You're lucky to have such connections, only special Trainers are chosen to be Dexholders<<
>>I'm special, even without having good connections! You'll see, I'm gonna be the best Dex holder ever!<<
They entered the kitchen, or what Hazel like to call "kitchen". Lapis put down the books lying on the table and took two teacups out of the cupboard, while Hazel boiled water. Lapis sat down and looked outside the window.
>>So, what is your first goal on you're journey?<<
>>Goal?<<
>>Yeah, are you going to challenge the gyms?<<
>>Hmm.....I dunno<<
>>Hah, well you can still think of it when you're off....Here, have some tea...It's probably going to take me some time to find the Pokédexs<<
>>Okay~ I'll be waiting<<
>I'm used to this. He always misplaces everything. He really needs someone to clean up his whole mess. He is so clumsy, the Pokédexs could be who knows where.<
>>Huh?<<
Pyrefly's Pokéball rolled off the table again. Lapis catched it and released Pyrefly.
>>Whats wrong, little guy?<< Pyrefly pointed at the table.
Lemnas' Pokéball was lying next to where Pyrefly's Pokéball was.<<
>>Hmmm...<<
>>Found them!<< Hazel ran downstairs with two Pokédexs in his hand, >>Well at least I found two of them...maybe I lost the third one somewhere in the living room....<<
>>Only two? There are also only two Pokéballs. Didn't you have three when I came here last?<<
>>Oh, yeah, Crablet is missing....<<
>>I don't think this is a coincidence... It's too weird that both went missing at the same time<<
>>So, do you think someone… stole them?<<
>>Maybe...who knows<<
Hazel gave Lapis the Pokédex and said >>I guess we'll have to find out<<
>>This one is a blue Pokédex, I made two blue and one red. I wanted to give you the red, but that one is missing<<
>>That's ok~ Blue is fine with me!<< Lapis ran to the door and turned back to Hazel.
>>Don't worry! I'll find Crablet and the Pokédex!<< She made the "V" Victory sign and smiled.
Hazel smiled back >>Good, I'll count on you<<
He turned around took one of the Pokéballs and said >>You better take Pyrefly with you. It seems to be attached to you<<
Pyrefly popped out of the Pokéball, made a salto and flew next to Lapis.
>>Hehehe, Hey there. You really want to join us?<<
Pyrefly nods
>>Okay, but then I should give you a nickname....wait... Right, now you're Flypyre (Taruhono)!<<
>>Well then Lapis, Alume and Flypyre, take care on your journey<<
>>We will! Don't worry!<<
And so Lapis went of, with her two Pokémon each on one shoulder, to the next city.

>>Hey it's me, Hazel. It's about the Pokédexs......Yeah, I'm sorry, one has been stolen.....Yes Lapis just went off.......Would you take care of this?....Thanks, See you<<
